Ah, Lindt. Everyone can appreciate the chocolately balls of goodness that melt in your mouth to a strangely cool liquid centre (just how do they do that?).

Anyway, the master chocolatiers have created a spread of the stuff that is now available in UK stores.

Total game changer.

Spotted by an overwhelmed shopper in a Lindt store in Liverpool, the spread comes packaged in a luxurious gold-wrapped jar, and retails for £5.99 for a 210g jar.

Naturally, the spread is already sold out online but, we’re expecting a fast restock soon due to high demand.

The spread is 40 per cent hazelnut meaning it’s likely to give its nutty rival, Nutella, a run for its money.

According to the product’s description: “The use of real LINDT chocolate combined with hazelnut enables you to create a delightful dessert or snack with a full and intense flavour.

“The preparation method that has been fine-tuned by the Lindt MaÎtres Chocolatiers to give rise a perfectly smooth mixture which retains the full chocolate aroma.”

While it’s not known if other Lindt stores are going to start stocking the sweet nectar, you can buy it online right here.

How long has this been sitting directly under our noses?!

Petition for Lindt to create a white chocolate spread next please.
