Cameron Dallas Netflix Show ‘Chasing Cameron’ Gets Premiere Date

Cameron Dallasreality show on Netflix following his life as an internet superstar, “Chasing Cameron,” will hit the streaming service on Dec. 27 worldwide.

Dallas rose to fame on Twitter’s Vine — and, coincidentally, Twitter announced Thursday that it will be shutting down the six-second video app. He has a fanbase of over 35 million followers across social-media platforms, including 9.5 million on Vine. The 22-year-old was recently ranked as the No. 1 most-engaging digital influencer in a report this summer by video tech and analytics firm Zefr.

“Chasing Cameron” follows Dallas and his friends Taylor Caniff, Aaron Carpenter, Blake Gray, Willie Jones and Trey Schafer as they all set out on their first MAGCON international tour. The 10-episode show follows the squad (and their screaming fans) across the globe to Paris, Italy and Australia, and explores the contrast between their public online profiles and their personal lives.

Dallas starred in Fullscreen’s high-school drama “The Outfield,” alongside fellow Vine celeb Nash Grier, and in 2014 toplined comedy “Expelled” from AwesomenessTV — both which hit top spots on Apple’s iTunes movie charts. He also appeared in NBC’s short-lived conspiracy thriller “American Odyssey” last year.

“Expelled,” which co-stars digital influencers including Andrea Russett and Lia Marie Johnson, is currently available on Netflix’s streaming platform, under a licensing pact with AwesomenessTV.

Netflix’s reality series with Cameron Dallas is executive produced by Jane Lipsitz and Dan Cutforth of Magical Elves and Brillstein Entertainment Partners’ Ben Curtis, Sanford Wernick and Jon Liebman. Cameron Dallas and Bart Bordelon also serve as executive producers.

Dallas is repped by WME, Brillstein Entertainment Partners and attorney Adam Kaller.

The digital influencer announced the show’s premiere date Thursday on Twitter:
