Caitlyn Jenner Given Women’s Locker At Her Country Club

Caitlyn Jenner has expressed her joy for finally being given a women’s locker at her country club.

The reality star has been a member of Sherwood Country Club in Lake Sherwood, California, for many years and took to social media to share her gratitude for being given the locker.

Writing alongside the photo of her swanky locker, complete with an inscribed name tag, Caitlyn wrote: “Grateful for my new locker at Sherwood. #welcome #acceptance”.

the 66-year-old has previously opened up about her inner battle with renewing her membership at the club and her gender identity - admitting that she kept her former name, Bruce Jenner, on the paperwork in a bid to avoid confusion.

She shared: “Let’s just put ‘Bruce’ down and it’s fine. 'Cause then I don’t have to worry about locker rooms and all that c**p right now, which I don’t want to worry about. I’ll worry about the locker rooms later on down the line.”

After Caitlyn went public about her transition the club refused to comment on her membership, saying in a statement: “Sherwood Country Club cherishes its members, and their privacy, and will not comment on anything regarding its members’ private use and enjoyment of the Club, including Caitlyn Jenner’s future use of the Club.”
