Caitlyn Jenner breaks down and considers quitting 'I'm A Celebrity'

Caitlyn Jenner wept as she admitted wanting to quit I’m A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! after just one night.

The Keeping Up With The Kardashians star put on a brave face to her fellow campmates - donning a black bikini to brave the cold jungle shower and bravely takign part in the first Bushtucker Trial with Good Morning Britain presenter Kate Garraway to win meals for the rest of the camp.

But Jenner cried as she told the Bush Telegraph in the early hours: “Being the first night in the Jungle my head was spinning. I’m kinda trying to figure out if I’m doing the right thing.

“I’m 70-years-old now and is being in here the right way to use my time. Should I be home with my kids, playing with the grandchildren?

“I’ve never quit at anything I’ve ever done and I’m thinking maybe it’s time I learned how to do that!”

In the morning rugby player James Haskell asked Jenner: “Did you wake up this morning and think ‘OMG, it’s real, I’m actually in the Jungle with all these idiots?’”

Jenner replied: “No actually, I woke up in the middle of the night. I had a tough night.”

Later the Olympic gold medal-winning decathlete opened up to the rest of her campmates about transitioning to become a woman. She completed gender reassignement surgery in 2017. From 1991 to 2014 she was married to Kris Kardashian, with whom she shares daughters Kendall and Kylie.

Jenner revealed: “I thought I was gonna transition before I was 40, I didn’t want to be an old chick but this is the latter 80s and I never felt like I fitted in anywhere. I was trying to figure myself out, running around town, cross dressing, running around.

“At the time, I had a turbo Porsche and it was like the day before Halloween and this car pulled up beside me and it’s my next door neighbour... I said I was going to a Halloween party!”

She revealed that when she cross dressed in her car she would drive around to Aerosmith’s Dude (Looks like A Lady).

Jenner added: “When I saw Steven Tyler [lead singer of Aerosmith] I told him that.”
