For a limited period from 14 July to 31 August, Burger King brings their popular Rendang Burger back onto the menu, offering an XXL version of the beef burger from 18 July.
Available in beef and chicken, fans of the Rendang burger can indulge in this long-time favourite, relaunched in celebration of the nation’s 55th birthday.
For the clueless, the Rendang Double Beef Burger features two flame-grilled beef patties topped with the signature Rendang sauce and fresh onions, served on toasted sesame seed buns. With the Rendang Tendergrill Chicken, you will get to feast on a juicy chicken thigh patty, topped with Rendang sauce and fresh onions.
For the first time in 30 years since the launch of the Rendang Burger, an XXL version will be available for burger fanatics. Similar to the regular version, the XXL burger will contain two, but bigger, beef patties on a five-inch toasted sesame bun, slathered with the savoury rendang sauce.
The regular Rendang Double Beef Burger and Rendang Tendergrill Chicken cost S$7.50 per value meal and are available from 14 July. The XXL Rendang Beef Burger will be available from 18 July at S$9.90 per value meal.
Burger King is also launching a collective social media campaign, #OdetoBKRendang, from 14 July. If the hashtag reaches more than 100 submissions, the regular Rendang Double Beef Burger and Rendang Tendergrill Chicken value meal will be available at a discounted price of S$5.50 for a limited time.
Furthermore from 18 - 20 July, priority lanes for XXL Rendang Beef Burger orders will be available at five Burger King outlets for the whole day.
The five restaurants are located at Burger King CompassOne, Heartbeat@Bedok, Seletar Mall, IMM, and Tampines Mall. For those who purchase at least 2 XXL burgers, they will stand a chance to win up to 200 special Rendang Burger merchandise that will be given out at random throughout this period.
