BTS Just Released a New 'IDOL' Music Video Featuring Nicki Minaj, and a New Dance Challenge

BTS's music video for their chart-topping bop "IDOL" is an epically chaotic and super extra work of art, featuring crazy bright colors and patterns, an out-of-this world wardrobe, trippy visual effects, a green screen shark, and giant 3D-animated BTS members. (I could go on!) And now, there's more still, because the group just released an extended cut of the video, featuring collaborator Nicki Minaj.

At the 3:12 mark, the Queen rapper makes her appearance in a short curly neon green bob and a fun multi-patterned jumpsuit. Nicki is chilling, feeling herself, and taking selfies in a living where absolutely nothing matches, but *somehow* everything just works. Unicorn mini neon-colored busts and zebra stripes? Sure! The rules of fashion and design don't apply to K-Pop, or to Nicki Minaj.

And while she doesn't have any onscreen time with J-Hope, RM, Jimin, Jin, Suga, V, or Jungkook, the seven members still make appearances throughout the rap break.

At the end of the video, there's also a mega bonus of never-before-seen BTS shots of, well, BTS where the boys are just having a good time and partying with their backup dancers. Playing alongside the clip are a compilation of homemade videos from the new dance challenge sweeping the world called the "IDOL Challenge."

I'm not even going to try the #IDOLChallenge, because you simply can't replicate the perfection of BTS's dance moves. But best believe I'm going to watch this music video a million times and dance in the privacy of my own room.
