Brooks Has a New Ugly Sweater-Inspired Running Shoe Coming Soon — Here’s When You Can Get a Pair

Throughout the years, Brooks has delivered ugly holiday sweater takes of its acclaimed running shoes — and this year is no different.

The Seattle-based running company teased on social media late yesterday its Christmas-inspired shoe for 2020: the Run Merry Revel 4. When you lace up a pair for your holiday runs, Brooks said you will be “Festive like Dancer,” “Quick like Comet” and “Fresh like Prancer.”

To pull off the ugly sweater theme, the brand added velvet-lined laces, ugly sweater plaid uppers and a velvet Brooks logo to its acclaimed neutral road running shoe. The look sits atop a white midsole and a green outsole. From a technology standpoint, the shoe features an updated arrow-point pattern in the outsole designed to allow for fast heel-to-toe transition and the brand’s soft BioMoGo DNA midsole cushioning.

The Brooks Run Merry Revel 4 will release on Nov. 27 in men’s and women’s sizing and retail for $100. The running company is encouraging customers to add their email address and phone number on its website for updates on the shoe.

However, if you want to get into the holiday spirit now and don’t feel like waiting two days to buy the shoes, Brooks has you covered. For $44 on Brooksrunning.com in men’s and women’s sizing is the ugly sweater-inspired Distance Graphic Long Sleeve from its Run Merry collection.
