Bront Palarae to return soon with "Pengabdi Setan 2"?
3 Apr – Popular actor Bront Palarae is set to start working soon on his latest horror movie, "Pengabdi Setan 2", after the actor shared a photo of a script's front page bearing the name of director Joko Anwar.
Even though Bront blurred out the movie's title, fans were already able to guess it because there have been previous reports of a sequel planned for the horror hit "Pengabdi Setan".
"Okay, here we go!!," Bront posted on his Instagram.
When "Pengabdi Setan" was released in cinemas in 2017, it was well-received in Malaysia and its home country, Indonesia.
It was also nominated for and won various awards, as well as managed to set a new record at the Indonesian box office.
"Pengabdi Setan" revolves around a family, wherein the mother suffers from a mysterious disease for three years before dying. The father then accepts a job out of town and is forced to leave his children alone at home.
Strange things begin to happen when the mother's spirit returns to the house. At first, the children think that she has returned to visit them, but they then learn that their mother wants to bring them to her world.
Apart from Bront, the movie also stars other great actors such as Tara Basro, Dimas Aditya, Endy Arfian and many more.
