Britney Spears Basically Lip Syncs ‘Toxic’ in ‘Carpool Karaoke’ Teaser (Video)
The highly anticipated (or at least, heavily promoted) Britney Spears episode of “Carpool Karaoke” will roll out in its entirety Thursday on “The Late Late Show,” but James Corden provided fans with a little taste Tuesday.
The teaser kicks off with some “Toxic,” though a bashful Britney took a little time to come around on that whole performing thing. And when she did, the former teen idol either sang extremely softly or actually thought she was on “Lip Sync Battle.”
Totally different show, Brit.

A little later, the duo talk about Spears’ kids. That’s when the CBS host deemed it appropriate to bring up that time he saw his mum in her underwear.
The “Oops! … I Did It Again” songstress called her celebrity driver “dirty” for sharing such a thing, though clearly Corden was actually quite traumatized over it.
Spears has currently taken up residency at Las Vegas’ Planet Hollywood Hotel and Casino. She’s set to put on the world premiere performance of new single “Make Me …” featuring G-Eazy this Sunday at Madison Square Garden’s MTV Video Music Awards. The song hails from Spears’ ninth studio album, “Glory,” which officially comes out on Friday.
