Britney Spears’ concert in Singapore on 30 June will be taking place at the Singapore Indoor Stadium and tickets will go on sale on 18 May, according to Britney Spears’ official Facebook page on Friday (12 May), just two weeks after organiser IME Singapore announced that the pop princess will be coming to Singapore.

UPDATE: Tickets to Britney Spears’ concert in Singapore range from $188 to $568 (excluding booking fees) and will go on sale on 18 May at 12PM, via SportsHub’s website.

The 35-year-old singer and dancer is famous for her songs such as “…Baby One More Time”, “Oops!… I Did It Again” and “Toxic”.

This will be the first time that Spears is bringing her world tour to Singapore, after performing at a closed-door showcase back in 1998.

Spears appeared on Disney’s “The Mickey Mouse Club” in the 90s before bursting onto the music scene with her first album “…Baby One More Time” in 1999, which debuted at the top of the US Billboard 200.

Her ninth and latest album, Glory, was released in 2016.

She would go on to be one of the top female artistes of the 2000s, though a string high-profile personal issues halted her career for a while.

Among the other stops in her 2017 world tour is Tel Aviv, which was proving to be such a draw that Israel’s Labour Party rescheduled its elections.
