They may have just welcomed their 22nd child during the coronavirus lockdown - but Sue and Noel Radford have still found time to stock up on enough chocolate Easter eggs for their large brood.

In a post on Instagram today, Britain’s biggest family showed off an impressive haul from Thorntons built like a pyramid.

Captioning the picture, they wrote: “Happy Easter everyone. We hope you have a lovely day eating lots of chocolate.”

It was part of a carousel of snaps showing their family tucking in to the sweet treats, and also of their newborn daughter - born just nine days ago - lying in a cushion featuring seasonal yellow chicks.

The chocolate eggs also featured the names of the rather experienced mum and dad’s numerous children in white icing.

While there are 22 boxes piled high - equating to the number of offspring they have - only 20 of them were for their kids, with two bearing Sue and Noel’s names.

Their eldest two children - son Chris, 30, and 25-year-old daughter Sophie - no longer live at home.

The post to their 258,000 followers went down well with their fans who left more than 15,000 ‘likes’.

And a fourth added: “Wow this is amazing.”

The family, who live in a ten-bedroom former care home in Morecambe, Lancashire, famously don’t claim benefits and run a successful bakery business.

Earlier this week, Sue, 45, and Noel, 49, shared adorable pictures of their newborn - whose name is yet to be revealed - meeting her siblings for the first time.

In a series of sweet snaps, the little girl, who was born on Friday 3rd April weighing 7lb, can be seen being cradled by some of her excited older brothers and sisters.

Posting the images on Instagram, they wrote: “A bit of baby spam. We feel so blessed to have her here safe and sound.”

Speaking to The Sun about the new arrival amid the pandemic, Sue said: “I was more scared than I had ever been going into hospital with everything going on with the virus.

“I was so worried that Noel wouldn’t be allowed to stay with me.

“We have all been isolating and it seemed wrong to leave our safe bubble to go to a hospital, but when I got there I felt safe straight away.”

The newborn girl joins 21 siblings - including Chris, 30, Sophie, 25, Chloe, 23, Jack, 22, Daniel, 20, Luke, 18, Millie, 17, Katie, 16, James, 15, Ellie, 14, Aimee, 13, Josh, 12, Max, 11, Tillie, nine, Oscar, seven, Casper, six, Hallie, three, Phoebe, two, Archie 18 months, and Bonnie, one.
