Not long after getting its Halal certification in June this year, fusion restaurant Halia at the Singapore Botanic Gardens is now serving up a breakfast menu that includes Asian-inspired dishes, such as chilli-crab eggs and braised wagyu nasi lemak.

Halia’s twist on the traditional nasi lemak dish is served with masala beef, coconut pandan rice, a fried egg, spiced nuts, pickled cucumber and ginger flower sambal.

The breakfast menu will also include other sweet and savoury dishes, such as organic chia seed porridge and truffled scrambled eggs on toasted sourdough bread.

A new range of beverages will be introduced alongside the new breakfast menu, such as ‘The Cumin’, ‘Cinnamon CGC’ and ‘The Goji Berry Infusion’.

Established in 2001, Halia is one of the first restaurants in Singapore to serve modern European cuisine with Asian influences.
