Bradley Cooper wants to reunite with Lady Gaga for a special A Star Is Born live event.

The Academy Award nominated actor made this admission during his recent appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, declaring, “I thought it would be a cool thing to do, maybe one night, it would be like a live reading of the script and sing all the songs as we read the script, like at the Hollywood Bowl or something.”

The chemistry between Cooper and Gaga in A Star Is Born was so dynamic and eclectic that even after the movie was released their real life interactions hooked movie and pop culture fans across the world, too.

That was particularly true after their live performance of Shallow at the Oscars, which went on to pick up the Academy Award for Best Original Song. Their intimate and emotional rendition at a piano instantly sent those watching into a frenzy.

But while Cooper admitted it was “terrifying” to actually agree to perform the song, he wasn’t nervous when it came to the going up on stage, as he had done so much preparation. Plus he had Lady Gaga there to support him.

“I worked really hard, and Lady Gaga is so supportive. But it was terrifying. Because I’m not a singer and I didn’t sing before this movie, so it was really crazy. It just shows you if you do work really hard, and you’re with supportive people, then you can do things you never dreamed possible.”

Ahead of the performance Cooper believed that if it was bad then people would never actually watch the movie again. “It was one of those things where I was like, ‘It has to be great’.”

But its undeniable that Cooper and Gaga excelled on stage, with the actor admitting it felt great, too. It wasn’t enough to convince Cooper to actually go on a full tour with Gaga, though, as he immediately shot down that idea when DeGeneres suggested it.
