15 Jul – Bowie Cheung has recently confirmed participation in the upcoming drama, "Children's Hospital", though confessed that she has no clue as to whether she is replacing Ali Lee as previously rumoured.
As reported on Mingpao, the actress, who appeared at the press conference of her variety programme, "All Things Girl" recently, stated that she will be playing the role of an anaesthesiologist in the said drama and had already received notification about the project three months ago.
"I am not sure whether I was called in to replace Ali or not," she added.
Asked if she would feel more pressured if she is indeed a replacement for the said actress, Bowie said that every artiste has their own strength.
"Ali has much more experience in acting, I can't compare with her. But I am grateful for this opportunity. I haven't done a lot of dramas myself, but the company gave their confidence in me this time, so I will work hard instead of worry about whether or not I could catch up," she said.
The upcoming series will see the highly-anticipated returns of many former TVB actors including Kevin Cheng, Linda Chung, and Catherine Chau.
