Mesdames and messieurs, it is with deepest pride, and greatest pleasure that we can finally show you some brand new, first look, pictures from the live-action Beauty and the Beast, and they are MAGNIFIQUE.

The movie stars real life princess (in the sense that she’s literally trying to change the world, and doing a great job so far) Emma Watson as Belle, and Downton Abbey’s Dan Stevens as the Beast. The rest of the cast includes singing Ewan McGregor as Lumiere, Ian McKellen as Cogsworth, along with Luke Evans and Josh Gad playing Gaston and Le Fou.

Can't wait for you to be our guest.

While earlier this year we got a quick trailer for the movie, we didn’t actually SEE much of Belle, or the Beast, or anything really. But that’s all about to change when Disney releases a special-edition version of the OG Beauty and the Beast for it’s 25th anniversary (do you feel old right now?). One of the special features on the DVD includes a look into the live-action movie, and AHHHHHH.

While this special edition DVD won’t hit shelves till September, a few lucky human beings out there have gotten their hands on it, and have shared a few images. If you’re wondering if these images are real or not, they certainly fit in with the look and feel of the first trailer:

All along we’ve been trying to figure out just how McGregor and McKellen would ~come to life~ as a candlestick and clock, and now we know. It’s a whole lot of Disney magic.

The second new picture shows a tavern, ahem Gaston’s Tavern? We sadly can’t see Evans face, but he’s roughly the size of a barge. Behind him, singing his little heart out, is undoubtedly Gad.

Beauty and the Beast’s 25th Anniversary DVD hits shelves on September 20th, and you’re going to want to grab one, or two, or 15 of them. It’s still going to be a very long wait till March 17th, 2017.
