Bond star Olga Kurylenko tests positive for coronavirus

Actress Olga Kurylenko has revealed that she's tested positive for coronavirus, and is now 'locked up at home'.

The Ukranian-born star of Bond movie Quantum of Solace, Oblivion and The Man Who Killed Don Quixote took to Instagram to let followers know.

“Locked up at home after having tested positive for Coronavirus,” she posted, with a view from her window.

“I’ve actually been ill for almost a week now. Fever and fatigue are my main symptoms. Take care of yourself and do take this seriously!”

She joins a number of movie business figures who have made their infection or quarantine known to the public.

Last week, Tom Hanks and his wife Rita Wilson revealed they're currently self-isolating in Australia, where Hanks is shooting Baz Luhrmann's forthcoming Elvis Presley biopic.

Hanks is set to play Presley's manager Col. Tom Parker in the movie, which is in pre-production.

Lurhmann revealed that and he and his family are now also quarantining themselves, following their contact with the Hanks.

“I'm in isolation for the next 10 days but the family and I are healthy and well,” the director said in a statement.

“Really must send a big thank you to the doctors and medical experts at Queensland Health who have given us tremendous support and most importantly, very clear instructions as to how about going putting our company and the community's health first.”

According to Deadline, Luhrmann is 'working at home' and currently trying to keep the movie on track.
