Fans of Bollywood superstar Kajol will soon be able to take selfies with her likeness at Madame Tussauds Singapore, as the wax museum is currently creating a wax figure of the actress.

Kajol’s wax figure will be displayed at the IIFA Awards Experience zone of Madame Tussauds Singapore, which recreates the experience of the awards ceremony of the International Indian Film Academy.

Kajol, one of India’s most successful actresses and an icon of Hindi cinema, will be the seventh Bollywood star to get a wax figure in the interactive awards zone. It will be the first figure of her made by the wax museum chain.

Madame Tussauds’ sculptors travelled to Mumbai and took more than 200 measurements from Kajol in order to create her wax figure.

Speaking about the new attraction at the museum, Kajol said, “It was an incredible process to have a sitting for my wax figure. It took approximately 4 hours to measure and get all the details. I love knowing that the artists are now working on every tiny detail and I’m so excited to see the finished result in Singapore!”
