Bobby Yip saddened by Lo Fun's passing


27 Feb - Hong Kong actor Bobby Yip (Also known as Pak Leung Kam) couldn't help but get choked up when talking about the late comedienne, Lo Fun, who recently passed away.

According to Oriental Daily, the "Lawyer Lawyer" actor, who attended the actress' funeral at the Universal Funeral Parlour with his son recently, stated that the last time he spoke to her was to ask her to work with him on a new movie.

"At the time, she declined it over the phone, and told me that she was sick. I thought that she was only pretending at the time. It was only later that I learned about her illness," he said.

Bobby stated that Lo was a very good friend who shared his sense of humour.

"Although she seemed like a loud person, in reality, she was a very kind woman," he said.

Aside from Bobby, other celebrity friends who attended the funeral include Betty Lai, Eric Tsang, Lana Wong, and Tsui Siu Ming.

Lo Fun recently passed away from lung failure caused by dermatomyositis. She was 63.
