Bobby Au Yeung wants a stage play of "House of Spirits"

24 Jul - Bobby Au Yeung has another idea to continue the success of his TVB drama, "House of Spirits", rather than following the trends of making a sequel.

As reported on Wenweipo News, the actor, who attended the promotional event of the drama alongside Nancy Wu and Joyce Tang recently, stated, "We all would love to make a sequel, but I have another idea. We could instead turn it into a stage play!"

Bobby said that the idea is not unachievable, since Dayo Wong has done it before with "War of the Genders" back in November 2000.

"We can write a play, but the most critical thing is to have the right schedule and the copyright. If everything goes well, we can even perform it at the Ko Shan Theatre," said Bobby.

When asked if TVB will not be too happy with the idea, as it will not make any money from advertisers, Bobby responded, "If it could be done, sponsors will be coming to us. But the main issue is copyright and the actors' schedules."

His idea was positively received by his two co-stars Joyce Tang and Nancy wu, who said that they would love to try their hands on stage acting.
