Bob Lam needs support to continue wife's treatment
29 Sep – Bob Lam Chi Po has taken to social media to seek help and assistance from fans and followers alike in prolonging his wife's life.
As reported on Mingpao, the TV personality whose wife Shirley has been battling leiomyosarcoma since last year, shared his wife's update on Facebook, saying that the cancer cells in her body has further spread since August, and that she has been losing her appetite because of the condition.
"Shirley has only one hope, that she can try the immune cell therapy. Since the public medical institutions in Hong Kong do not do this type of treatment, and the cost is quite high, frankly speaking, my financial situation makes it impossible for us to pay for Shirley's expenses," he said.
However, Bob stated that Shirley has made it clear that she does not want to give up, and that they will try their best. He then called for the spiritual and financial support of all his fans and followers so that they will be able to continue the fight.
