After more than 20 years, Japanese rockers L'Arc-en-Ciel will finally perform live at the Singapore Indoor Stadium on April 28.

Formed in 1991, the four-member band, whose name means "rainbow" in French but is nicknamed "Laruku" by fans, is performing for the first time in Singapore.

The much-anticipated gig is part of the band's 20th anniversary world tour and it brings members Hyde, Ken, Tetsuya and Yukihiro to Singapore, Hong Kong, Bangkok, Shanghai, Taipei, New York, London, Paris, Jakarta and Seoul.

Hailed as the most popular rock band in Japan, L'Arc-en-Ciel has sold a total of 40 million records and played to over three million people to date.

Ticket sales launched on 23 February at 9am. Fans can get their tickets via SISTIC outlets. Ticket prices range from $98 to $228.
