  • Blake Lively had a massive hair transformation in her new The Rhythm Section movie.

  • She plays an assassin!

If you thought Blake Lively's A Simple Favor transformation was good, then please direct your attention to her new movie, The Rhythm Section, which, contrary to popular belief, is not about being in band and learning to play the drums!

In The Rhythm Section, Blake plays Stephanie Patrick, who just discovered that the plane crash that killed her family wasn't actually an accident and that there was a bomb onboard. Stephanie doesn't know what happened or why, but something is obviously fishy, so she becomes an assassin. (I guess we're supposed to assume being an assassin is an easy career change for Stephanie.) Anyway, she's got "nothing to lose," so she takes on different disguises to track down whoever was responsible even though Jude Law tells her that even if she succeeds, it won't be worth it.

The trailer doesn't tell us much more about the movie, but Sterling K. Brown is also in it, there's a lot of fighting and explosions, and Blake wears three different wigs that make her look totally unrecognizable.

Here she is in the black pixie wig that she wears while kicking some guy's butt on the bus:

Here's her in a blonde wig that looks like the phase after you get a bowl cut and realize you actually hate it and need to start growing it out.

And here's the red wig that makes her look like Jessica Rabbit.
