BLACKPINK's Lisa to make solo debut in summer

13 Jul – Lisa Manoban is indeed going to be the third BLACKPINK member to come out with her solo debut.

As reported on DongA, the news was confirmed by her agency, YG Entertainment on 12 July, stating, "Lisa is scheduled to shoot a music video for a new song this week. She is set to make a solo debut this summer."

YG previously announced the release of the members' solo albums sequentially after the release of BLACKPINK's "The Album" back in October 2020.

Jennie was the first to make her solo debut in 2018, with her title track "SOLO" breaking 300 million streams on Spotify. Rosé followed suit with her solo album "R" back in March this year, enabling her to enter the US Billboard's "Hot 100" single chart.

Jisoo is set to release her solo debut following Lisa.
