Blackpink's Jennie dreams up the 'Jentle Home' with sunglasses brand Gentle Monster
As South Korea relaxes lockdown measures, many South Koreans have returned to work and shopping at malls.
Sunglasses brand Gentle Monster recently announced a pop-up space in Gangnam, Seoul to reveal an eyewear collection with Jennie, from K-pop group Blackpink.
To ensure the safety of customers and prevent the spread of COVID-19, the pop-up requires visitors to wear masks at all times while visiting the space. Individuals without masks or with body temperature above 37.5C will be prohibited from entering the space.
The pop-up space is inspired by Jennie’s childhood memories and is named ‘Jentle Home’. The space is modelled after a three-storey dollhouse filled with miniature objects and characters. There are spaces dedicated to Dressing Room, Fountain Room, Living Room and the Kitchen.
Besides the diverse range of sunglasses, eyewear frames and eyewear accessories, there are exclusive candies and toys that were inspired by 'Jentle Home' and Jennie's own sweet fantasies. These include a toy cellphone, a rock candy ring, and a lipstick pop.

Jennie’s Gentle Monster collection ranges from US$130 to US$260 and has launched on Gentle Monster’s website as well.
The Jennie x Gentle Monster ‘Jentle Home’ pop-up will open in Seoul from 13 May to 12 September.
