'Black Panther' Michael B. Jordan incorporates Naruto anime in his fashion line with Coach

SINGAPORE — In an interesting twist of fashion meets anime meets Hollywood, ‘Black Panther’ actor Michael B. Jordan recently unveiled his collaboration with fashion brand Coach, that is inspired by his cultural influences and community, plus his love of Naruto. The unisex ready-to-wear, footwear and bag collection is Jordan’s first foray into fashion design, guided by the expertise of Coach Creative Director Stuart Vevers.

The collection incorporates lots of functional details and graphic codes from the world of Naruto, a popular Japanese anime and manga that Jordan loved watching as a child. From parkas, jean jackets and pullovers to backpacks, utility packs and hybrid sneaker boots, the range is comes with technical details like removable sleeves, tactical straps and elastic closures.
