Daniel Kaluuya has claimed that next year’s ‘Black Panther’ will be just as ‘crazy’ as ‘Game Of Thrones.’

Kaluuya, who shot to stardom earlier this year thanks to his performance in the horror film ‘Get Out’, has been cast as W’Kabi, the confidant to Chadwick Boseman’s T’Challa/Black Panther.

Clearly he’s rather enjoying himself working on ‘Black Panther’, too, because Daniel Kaluuya has been waxing lyrical about it, as well as its director Ryan Coogler, but made sure to insist to GQ, via Metro, that it doesn’t just copy ‘Iron Man’ and ‘Captain America’.

“This is an African blockbuster, bruv. This is like ‘Game Of Thrones’. This is crazy. And Ryan Coogler is just, man dem. He’s like us! He’s a normal dude, in a Golden State hate and a Tupac T-shirt directing the whole set. It’s the most beautiful thing to see.”

‘Black Panther’ is set to pick up following the events of ’Captain America: Civil War’. T’Challa returns home as the king of Wakanda, only to find that his role as the head of the sovereign and the country’s protector has been challenged by the exiled Erik Killmonger (Michael B. Jordan).

As well as Boseman, Jordan, and Kaluuya, ‘Black Panther’ also stars Danai Gurira, Lupita Nyong’o, Martin Freeman, Angela Bassett, Forest Whitaker, and Andy Serkis, while there are rumours that it will also include Sebastian Stan’s Bucky Barnes, but Samuel L. Jackson has repeatedly made it public that there’s no room for Nick Fury, and he’s not at all happy about it.

Despite Jackson’s objections, ‘Black Panther’ will be released in the UK on February 9, 2018.
