Bill Maher’s ‘Real Time’ Renewed by HBO Through 2018

Bill Maher has extended his HBO contract through 2018, which will take Real Time through an impressive Season 16.
Additionally, the pay-TV network unveiled premiere dates for the upcoming Westworld, Divorce and Insecure. The first is set for Sunday, Oct. 2, the latter two will debut one week later.
Westworld, inspired by the 1973 film of the same title written by Michael Crichton, is about a futuristic theme park populated by artificial beings. The HBO version stars Ben Barns, Anthony Hopkins, James Marsden, Ed Harris, Ingrid Bolsø Berdal and Clifton Collins Jr.

Divorce, which stars Sarah Jessica Parker, Molly Shannon, Talia Balsam and Thomas Haden Church, (not surprisingly) tells the tale of a couple that is splitting up. Insecure follows the awkward experiences and racy tribulations of a modern-day African-American woman. That one stars Issa Rae and Mason McCulley.
Finally, before Programming President Casey Bloys’ executive session panel, his cable network stated that it will be bringing back The Larry Sanders Show in its entirety. The groundbreaking Garry Shandling sitcom will hit HBO Go, Now and On Demand Sep. 23. It’ll hit HBO Comedy three days later.
HBO is set to present series and specials all Saturday morning from the Beverly Hilton’s International Ballroom. Nat Geo and EPIX are in the afternoon.
