“Singapore is my second home!” Bigbang’s Seungri declares when he was asked about his Singaporean fans and his frequent trips to our sunny island.
The K-Pop superstar was in town to grace Braun Büffel’s Spring/Summer 2019 launch event in Singapore on Saturday (8th December).
Speaking in fluent English and occasionally switching to Mandarin, Seungri was surprised with a birthday cake during the event. Fans who had crowded the outside of the shop, along with the second and third floors, sang birthday songs in English and Korean for the star, who will be turning 27 years old on 12th December.
With his frequent visits to Singapore, Seungri was able to meet his Singaporean fans at events and even while he was on the streets. “The Singapore VIPs (name of Bigbang fans), especially South-east Asia’s VIPs, they are a big support to Bigbang and my solo stuffs,” Seungri let on during the interview in store.
“I’ll be bringing my solo tour to Singapore sometime in February or March next year,” Seungri announced, dropping an exclusive for the VIPs waiting outside to catch a glimpse of him.
To thank the VIPs that had been waiting for hours outside the store and for the birthday surprise, Seungri broke into an impromptu rendition of Last Christmas, before leaving the launch event.
