During the Thailand leg of his “Act III, M.O.T.T.E.” world tour on Saturday (8 July), 28-year-old singer G-Dragon narrowly avoided a severe accident on stage.

Footage from a video shared on Facebook shows the leader of popular Korean group BIGBANG performing the song “A Boy”, failing to notice an opening in the stage behind him, which was meant for a stage lift.

As he turned around, G-Dragon caught sight of the opening just before losing his balance, but managed to jump into it instead of falling with all the coolness you’d expect from GD himself.

Several concert staff are then seen rushing to the rift to check if the singer was injured or not.

G-Dragon did not respond to the incident, but will be proceeding with his concert tour in North America, starting with Seattle on 11 July.

He was last in Singapore on 24 June and performed for two nights at the Singapore Indoor Stadium.
