Beyoncé Goes Old Hollywood in a Sultry Green Gown

Beyoncé is looking flawless as usual on Instagram.

Last night and this morning, the singer blessed her 200 million-plus followers with shots of a new, incredibly glamorous Old Hollywood look. In the series of photos, the singer poses on the steps of Harry's Bar in a sultry green silk gown with a low-cut neckline and a hip-high leg slit. She pairs the look with bejeweled drop earrings and a dazzling diamond necklace studded with matching emerald accents, as well as shimmery gold heels and a clutch. Her beauty look is equally elegant: She wears a bold red lip and her long, caramel-brown hair in loose, bouncy curls.

The singer was reportedly out to support her husband, Jay-Z, on his upcoming film, The Harder They Fall, set to release on Netflix on November 3. Starring Idris Elba and Regina King, it follows an outlaw who teams up with an old gang after his enemy is released from prison. Jay-Z serves as a producer.

The film premiere follows Beyoncé and Jay-Z's weeks spent together in Europe. They were spotted at the BFI Film Festival in London, where Jay-Z's film made its world premiere, and Beyoncé celebrated her 40th birthday on a yacht—and thankfully shared all the looks on Instagram.

For her special birthday, Beyoncé posted a handwritten note to her website, offering her reflections on turning 40 and thanking fans for their support. "This is the first year that I really understand what it means to be alive and to live in the moment. It’s the first time that I have an understanding of how fragile life truly is, how hard life can be at times, and therefore how important it is to stop and smell the roses during the good times," the singer wrote. "The more mature I become, the more I understand and the deeper my joy grows."

She added, "Most of y’all met me when I was 15, and we have grown up together. You bring sooooo much joy into my life. I hope my art can continue to bring a little joy into yours."
