It's been a sunny start to 2020 in the Alps, but with snow conditions looking pristine the ski season is off to a great start and latest reports predict more snow is on its way. Skiers and snowboarders can find the best last-minute deals, offers and savings, from operators, chalets and resorts around the world for all dates throughout January, February and March. Those looking to book a last-minute half term package, a week at Chalet Roc Merlet in Val d’Isere costs from £1,199 per person, saving £891 each, departing February 16 2020. VIP Ski is offering the chance to book a last-minute romantic Valentine's getaway and save up to £400 per person. A week’s stay at Hotel Arlberg in St Christoph in Austria costs from £1,079 per person. The price includes chalet board, flights from Gatwick and transfers, departing February 9 2020.

Ski Solutions is offering free equipment hire to guests who book a luxury weekend ski trip before the end of January. A four-night stay at Hotel Lo Scoiattolo in Courmayeur costs from £745 per person, saving £100 each. The price includes bed and breakfast, flights and transfers, plus equipment hire.

Ski Safari is offering 25 per cent off trips to Whistler. A week at the Aava Whistler Hotel costs from £1,150 per person. The price includes accommodation only in a deluxe room, flights and transfers, departing on dates between January and March 2020, booked by February 29 2020.

Pierre & Vacances is offering 20 per cent off late-season self catered holidays. A week’s stay in an apartment for six people at Les Fermes du Soleil in Les Carroz, with access to a heated pool and spa area, costs from £812 total, reduced from £1,016. The price includes accommodation only, arriving April 4 2020.

Family deals

Esprit Ski is offering families the chance to save. A week at Hotel Des Deux Domaines in Belle Plagne costs from £1,889 total for a family of three, saving £1,150. The price includes full board, flights from Stansted and transfers, departing February 23 2020.

SkiStar, the company responsible for some of Scandinavia's biggest resorts, is offering families with young children the chance to save. Children ages up to six years old can receive free tuition, equipment rental, lift passes and meals during Valle’s Family Weeks, between March 23 and Paril 5 2020. To qualify for the deal one adult lift pass for four days of longer must be purchased from SkiStar, before February 28 2020.

Erna Low is offering 20 per cent off trips to Avoriaz, plus free list passes for children. A week’s stay at the three-star Residence Electra in Avoriaz, costs from £321 per person. The price includes accommodation for up to five in a one-bedroom apartment and Eurotunnel crossing, arriving April 4 2020. With every adult six-day life pass bought guests will receive a free child’s pass.

2021 deals

Skiworld has launched a new loyalty scheme, offering discounts to its returning guests. Customers can receive up to £100 per person if they book their 2020/21 ski holiday within four weeks of returning this winter. If booked within 10 weeks they’ll receive £50 off per person, with the discount reducing to £35 each after 10 weeks.

VIP Ski is offering the chance to save over £460 per person on a last-minute luxury chalet stay. A week’s stay at Bellacima Lodge, which has a cinema room, hot tub and swimming pool, in Méribel costs from £1,100 per person, saving £469 each. Specialist tour operator Santa’s Lapland has last-mintute availability on Christmas holidays with Santa Claus.
