Bernie Sanders Brought To Tears By Brother’s Vote At Dem Convention

One of the night’s most dramatic moments at DNC Day 2 came when Larry Sanders, a delegate for Democrats Abroad, cast a vote for his kid brother, Sen. Bernie Sanders, during the roll-call vote that clinched the nomination for Hillary Clinton.

Larry Sanders told the hall before before casting his vote: “I want to read, before this convention, the names of our parents: Eli Sanders and Dorothy Glassberg Sanders. They did not have easy lives and they died young. They would be immensely proud of their son and his accomplishments. They loved him.”
