Bernice Liu denies dating a wealthy man
24 Feb - Actress Bernice Liu has recently denied rumours saying that she is currently dating a wealthy man, after she was recently spotted being driven around in a fancy car, visiting expensive restaurants, and living in luxury.
According to Mingpao, the actress, who appeared at the promotional event for TVB's new programme, recently responded to the rumours, saying that it was just a misunderstanding.
"The driver [of the car] has been with me for ten years. The driver is a close friend who drives me around and acts as my assistant," she clarified.
Bernice said that the speculations might have sparked because her lifestyle seemed to not correspond with the amount of work she does in Hong Kong.
"In fact, I have been filming various projects in Malaysia, Singapore, and Canada," she said.
Bernice also has her own business, and that the money she earned from it has enabled her to buy her own home and her own branded fashion items.
"I know you care about me. But if there is any good news [regarding love life], I will announce it," she added.
