Ben Yuen laughs off double wedding proposal

24 Apr – Hong Kong actor Ben Yuen has recently dismissed the idea of holding a joint-wedding with good friend Louisa So and Poon Chan Leung, saying that he is not yet ready to settle down.

As reported on Mingpao, the 55-year-old actor, who appeared on Nancy Sit's radio show after winning Best Supporting Actor at the Hong Kong Film Awards, laughed when asked about Louisa's recent plan on holding a double wedding with him if he wins the award.

"She is just joking when she said that. I don't have plans to tie the knot right now, and haven't had time to think about it," he said.

Ben stressed that marriage is not something one should enter with such impulse.

"My girlfriend and I are already used to our current lifestyle. We have our own ways. The best way to get along is to have mutual respect for one another," he said.

On the other hand, when asked if he is getting a raise after winning the award for his performance in "Tracey", the actor stated that he won't take things too far.

"I am okay with what I get now. I just love acting, it doesn't matter how much I get paid," he said.
