Ben Wong strives to stay true to wife
26 Jul - Although he plays a man who comes between a husband and a wife in new drama, "Between Love & Desire", actor Ben Wong stated that in real life, he is a doting husband to his wife of many years.
As reported on On Oriental Daily News, the actor, who has been married for 12 years, stated that he has had women approaching him before, but that he never once jeopardised his marriage.
"Once I felt that something is not right, I will immediately take an exit. This kind of things can destroy one's marriage," he said.
That fact is true, as the actor has never been known to be romantically linked to any of his co-stars throughout his career.
Ben stated that since his wife is not in showbiz, it took them quite a while to build trust, especially when it comes to his career as an actor.
"But we would talk a lot about work, and I would always tell her of the things I do so that she will understand my work. Once she understands it, everything becomes much better," he said.
Ben also stated that in order to make their marriage work, the two of them decided to keep their personal lives low-key.
