Ben Affleck Encourages New Hampshire To Vote In Parody PSA (Watch)

Ben Affleck has a message for New Hampshire residents: go f-cking vote.

In a new parody PSA for NextGen Climate and Funny or Die’s “Everyone Votes!” campaign, the Boston-raised actor urges New Hampshire residents to vote in November’s presidential election.

“So if you give a sh-t about women’s rights, [if] you care about keeping the environment safe for future generations — ever hear of it — if you care about people getting to piss in the f-cking bathroom of their choice, then guess whose got your back in this election?” asks Affleck in an exaggerated Bostonian accent. “That’s right — my basically home state New Hampshire.”

As part of NextGen Climate’s campaign, the PSA aims to highlight the important role New Hampshire voters play in determining the outcome of this election. Affleck, positioned in front of alternating stock footage of the state in question, reiterates that the process begins by first registering to vote.

“The people from New Hampshire are going to have to register and vote,” the actor/director says. “Otherwise this whole damn nation is going to be cursed.”

NextGen Climate focuses to spread to word to millennial voters, and educate them about where the candidates stand on the issues that are important to them.

“Register to vote, New Hampshire,” ends Affleck. “All of New England is counting on you.”
