SINGAPORE — With the opening of its flagship store at 111 Somerset, REBEL is intending to be a social joint with conscious effort, beginning with reducing single-plastic usage and wrapping their hot sandwiches in biodegradable, recycled, unbleached or non-PVC lined paper. Not only that, the store partners with local coffee roasters QOMUNE, to make freshly brewed coffee using beans that are ethically sourced.

Inspired by the traditional Vietnamese banh mi, REBEL concocted sandwiches using meat patties from Zac Meat, the largest premium halal certified meat producers in Singapore, thus giving fans 15 offerings in one seating.
