Bella Hadid shared a topless selfie and encouraged her fans to stay home amid the coronavirus pandemic.

The 23-year-old model posted the snap on her Instagram page on Friday, showing her sat in front on a mirror, wearing beige pants and black sneakers, with a burrito strategically placed over her breasts.

"Me and my burrito telling you to stay inside! not only for the sake of just yourself but also for literally the entire world and all of the people that you love," she penned in the caption. “Its crazy because all we have to do is work together to slow down this virus and people are still having trouble understanding that.. don’t be selfish!

Bella suggested fans could, "meditate ! hang out with your dog/cat/fish! they are probably super excited to have your attention for 24 hours out of the day..!! learn how to knit ! tie die some socks !," along with other suggestions including joining video sharing platform TikTok, writing a poem, finding out your rising sign, becoming a better person, and, “wash those damn hands people!”

“To the people who are still working and the ones who can’t … I love you and i am thinking about you !” she concluded the post.

The advice from the star comes as the World Health Organisation (WHO) urges people to practice social distancing and stay home in a bid to prevent the spread of the virus.

The outbreak of Covid-19 has seen more than 283,000 cases of the virus registered, resulting in a death toll of over 11,800, since it began in December.
