Bebe Rexha has praised Kim Kardashian for helping her to embrace her natural curves.

The singer is now a vocal advocate for body positivity, having encountered a number of instances of size discrimination since launching her career in 2013.

However, in a conversation on Miley Cyrus's Bright Minded show on Instagram on Wednesday, Bebe named reality TV star Kim as one of her icons.

Explaining how she desperately wanted to sport outfits similar to those worn by the likes of Miley and Britney Spears as she was growing up, the 30-year-old added, "I was a bigger, curvier girl. I had too much a*s and too much thighs (sic). She (Kim) had those curves, so I felt more accepted."

Further on in the chat, Bebe also opened up about how she is keeping her mental and physical health in check during the coronavirus pandemic, noting that she has been making time for regular phone appointments with her therapist.

"We have to be super nice to ourselves and have a schedule," she shared. "I meditate and I'm not allowed to look at the TV until 1pm... and you have to force yourself to do things you don't wanna do, like a workout."

Yet, Bebe also confessed that her lockdown diet hasn't been great, and while she's been snacking on Reese's Pieces candy every day, she refuses to give herself a hard time over her food choices.

"Right now, you have to be really kind to you. We are all scared, we're all anxious, you've gotta be really nice to yourself," the Meant to Be hitmaker insisted.
