1. How did you start becoming a blogger?

It was back when I was 13 or 14 years old, I can’t remember. I created a blog then, but it was more of an online diary of sorts, just for me to share my thoughts. The bulk of pictures from my blog back then were taken during class gatherings. And then when I was studying abroad, my blog started filling up with more travel and lifestyle content.

2. Can you describe what a typical day is like for you?

I start my day really early, at about 6.30am. I usually head out for an exercise class and would have that ticked off my to-do list by 8.30am.

The rest of the day will be spent at meetings, short shoots and working on my new brand, kāi.

3. What’s your morning beauty regime?

Light cleansing with my favourite cleanser, then applying sunblock before putting on some light make-up.

4. What’s your night-time beauty regime?

Cleansing my face throughly with my FOREO cleansing brush after removing my make-up. I then apply the SK-II Facial Treatment Essence or Fresh’s Black Tea Kombucha Facial Treatment Essence, after which I use my moisturiser of choice along with some eye cream around my eye area.

5. What are your current favourite beauty products? Why?

I am in love with LANCÔME’s Advanced Génifique Eye Light Pearl, as it is both gentle and soothing when applied.

I trust the SK-II Facial Treatment Essence for clear and radiant skin, but have been trying Fresh’s Black Tea Kombucha Facial Treatment Essence which has been working wonders for me too.

My current two favourite moisturising products are Hada Labo’s Super Hyaluronic Acid Hydrating Lotion and Mamonde’s Enriched Nutri Sleeping Mask. For lips I use Fresh’s Sugar Caramel Hydrating Lip Balm.

6. What is the most common beauty mistake you’ve heard or seen Singaporeans making? How would you wish to correct it?

Not wearing sunscreen on a daily basis. I believe more education about sun damage and the benefits of wearing sunscreen daily would help, such as letting people know about the different types of sunscreen that would fit their lifestyles and skin types.

7. Is there a beauty secret that you swear by?

Never head to bed without properly cleansing your face and moisturising it.

8. How big is your beauty collection now?

WAY TOO BIG.
