Bea Alonzo, Alden Richards to begin filming new movie

19 Nov – After much delay due to the pandemic, the Bea Alonzo-Alden Richards project will finally begin production.

GMA shared the good news on social media on 17 November, posting this particular announcement that read, "Now, another good news has come, especially for the fans of Asia's Multimedia Star [Alden Richards] and New Generation Movie Queen [Bea Alonzo], as Viva Entertainment executive Vincent Del Rosario confirmed that their movie will begin shooting this November."

Del Rosario stated that they waited for a while before finally confirming the filming schedule in order to do it properly rather than be restricted due to the pandemic.

The upcoming film was previously revealed to be an adaptation of Japanese series, "Pure Soul", which was later remade into the Korean movie, "A Moment to Remember".

The Filipino version has been retitled, "Special Memory" and tells the story of a couple experiencing hardships due to one of them suffering from Alzheimer's disease.

It was last year that Bea expressed her interest in working with Alden on a big screen project, having collaborated with the actor on an advertisement prior.
