Barbie Imperial shares why romance with JM de Guzman failed
9 May – Barbie Imperial recently shared the reason why it did not work out between her and "Araw Gabi" co-star JM de Guzman.
As reported on ABS-CBN, the actress, who opened up about the short-lived relationship with de Guzman on "Tonight with Boy Abunda" recently, stated that both went into the relationship as two people who have yet to heal from their previous issues.
"It was very soon. I had just broken up with Paul [Salas] in July. [JM] was always there for me. But he also admitted that he wasn't okay yet," she said.
It is noted that the two worked on the Kapamilya series a few months after de Guzman had just completed his rehab.
"So there we were, two hurt people trying to fix and build each other. But it was not possible," she said.
Although she has no plans to be in touch with de Guzman again anytime soon, Imperial said that she is open to the idea of befriending him again sometime in the future.
"I don't know what is going to happen in the future. But right now, not really," she said.
