‘Ballers’ Stars Omar Miller and Troy Garity Exclusive StudioWrap Portraits (Photos)
Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson may seem perfect to the outside world, but “Ballers” stars Omar Benson Miller and Troy Garity revealed to TheWrap’s Stuart Brazell that the actor has his own personal vices.
“He walks on set and he’s like, ‘You guys gotta keep me away from the donuts,'” Garity said.
“Listen, he’s human,” Miller added. “What do you want from Dwayne?”

“Metabolism,” Garity quipped in response.
HBO’s “Ballers” dives into the world of professional football and stars Johnson as a retired NFL player who becomes a financial manager in Miami for guys still in the league. Miller plays the role of a former NFL player while Garity portrays a sports agent.
The duo also addressed a recent revelation that NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell tried to stop players from having cameos on the show.

“I can’t tell you how many players have hit me [up] personally to be on the show,” Miller said. “Hopefully, instead of seeing it as a bad thing, everybody can see it as a revelation of ‘hey, these guys are humans,’ and if you were 20 years old with several million dollars, who knows what would have happened to you?”
But aside from wanting to have cameos on the show, Miller and Garity said that it’s hard for players to deny the appeal of traveling to South Florida and going head-to-head with The Rock.
“Everyone wants to do a push-up contest with Dwayne,” Miller said. “Everyone wants to see who’s the toughest.”
Antonio Brown, Steven Jackson, LeSean Jackson, Terrell Suggs, Don Shula and Larry Csonka all made cameos in the first season of the HBO series, with Suggs, Julian Edelman, Ndamukong Suh and Jarvis Landry set to appear on Season 2.
