This week, Bait revealed it has teamed up with the popular anime franchise “One Punch Man” to deliver a new iteration of the Adidas Montreal collab, and the look will resemble the show’s main character, Saitama.
The silhouette debuted in 1976 for the Adidas athletes participating at the summer Olympics in Montreal and decades later, new iterations of the shoe continue to release. For this collab, a bold yellow hue dominates a majority of the suede upper and is contrasted by red accents on the heel tab, Three Stripes branding on the sides and tongue. An image of Saitama also appears on the tongue while a portrait of the character is printed on the insoles and right heel. Rounding out the look is a white rubber outsole.
In addition to the shoe, the Bait x “One Punch Man” x Adidas collab will include a matching t-shirt and a hoodie.
The collaborative Bait x “One Punch Man” x Adidas Montreal will release tomorrow exclusively at Baitme.com and on a first-come-first-serve basis at Bait’s flagship stores. The online raffle for the shoe is currently live and winners will be notified starting tomorrow. The shoe will come with a $120 price tag.
