Yes, even your cocktails need a Christmas makeover this holiday season! You may or may not be familiar with coquito, but you will be now, because Bacardí has brought back its ready-to-drink version of it. The limited-edition beverage was first introduced in December 2020, but we don’t have to wait any longer to get our hands on it again, because it’s back for the 2021 holiday season.

Coquito is an egg nog-like drink that originated in Puerto Rico. Bacardí’s take on it combines Puerto Rican white rum, toasted spices, coconut cream, vanilla and cinnamon, so you can think of it as a boozy coconut egg nog. The Bacardí Coquito closely follows the traditional recipe, according to the brand. Since the cocktail is already made for you, just open the bottle (preferably after it’s already cold), pour, and drink. The gluten-free beverage has 13% ABV, so sip responsibly.

You can find the Bacardí Coquito at select grocery and liquor stores across the country, as well as for delivery on Drizly and ReserveBar, for a suggested retail price of $19.99, a PR rep confirmed to Best Products.

You might think that a bottled version of coquito would never compare to the homemade stuff, but you might be pleasantly surprised. When I had it for the first time in 2019, let’s just say that it disappeared rather quickly. It’s a great option when you don’t know what to bring to a holiday gathering (or just need a last-minute gift)!
