Baby Bo is happy for Philip Keung

21 Apr - She may have failed to bring home the Best Supporting Actress award, but according to singer-actress Baby Bo, she still enjoyed her time at the Hong Kong Film awards, especially after seeing Philip Keung finally winning an accolade.

As reported on Mingpao, the singer who spoke to the media after a radio show recently, shared that she was crying when Philip's name was called to accept the Best Supporting Actor award for his role in "Shock Wave".

"We have known each other for many years. We're always supportive of each other. It was really great that he won the award," she said.

On the other hand, the "Somewhere Beyond the Mist" star, who lost her category to Deannie Ip, shared that she is thankful to her husband, who accompanied her to the event.

"He was more nervous and kept asking me what will happen next. But I had no experience as well. I'm still new at this. But it was a great memory," she said.

Bo said that she also celebrated Philip's victory with a group of friends later that evening.

"A friend of ours wrote my name on the cake as well, aside from Philip's name. I just feel so sorry that I disappointed everyone. But they comforted me and told me to continue to work hard," she said.
