B.J. Novak Was Mindy Kaling's Oscars Date
Mindy Kaling once described her bond with B.J. Novak as "weird as hell." The Office costars dated on-screen (Kelly and Ryan forever!!), then turned that relationship into a real-life romance. Then, because love is clearly dead and gone forever, they broke up.
Thankfully, Kaling and Novak parted on good terms - so good, in fact, that they've remained close friends ever since the split. And what could be better than bringing your BFF as your date to a swanky Oscars after-party? Nothing, that's what.
On Sunday evening, Kaling posted an Instagram teasing their impending red carpet arrival at Vanity Fair's Oscars Party.

They posed for some photos on their way in...
... then they locked eyes and our hearts melted.
If her Instagram is any indication, the Wrinkle in Time star and new mom seems to be thoroughly enjoying her big night out. Kaling welcomed a daughter, Katherine, in December. (She has yet to publicly address who Katherine's father is.)
Fingers crossed this means we'll have more Mindy and B.J. sightings to look forward to. Maybe they'll even get back together?!
