Azrel Ismail steps forward to defend his girlfriend Ruhainies

25 Jul – Actor Azrel Ismail has come forth to defend his girlfriend, actress Ruhainies, and said that there is no romantic involvement between her and businessman Datuk Seri Adnan Abu or 'Datuk Red' after a video capturing them together had spread recently.
"I am shocked with the news and video which has spread. I am confident that Ruhainies doesn't have anything to do with that man and they have met only for work as they previously did have a project together."
"I know what kind of person Ruhainies is and if she wants to go out she will always be accompanied by a family member or her assistant," he was quoted as saying by mStar.
Added the "8 Jam" actor, on the day the video was captured Ruhainies had told him that she was going out with her assistant but she didn't mention what for.
The 30-year-old actor added that the 24-year-old is a very special woman to him, however Azrel has said that they have not talked to bring their relationship to the next phase yet.
Azrel also said that he is unable to accompany his girlfriend anywhere as he has a packed schedule shooting his drama, "Lelaki Macam Dia".
