20 Aug – Expect a bigger and better Cyberjaya Multimedia Festival (CMF) when it returns this year on 7 September!

Just like its previous editions, the festival is all about music, arts and animation, and will mark the finale of Southeast Asia's Kre8tif! Conference and Content Festival.

Headlining the music stage this year are alternative rock band Azlan the Typewriter, R&B and electro-pop singer Leaism and folk musical trio The Impatient Sisters. DJ Public School is going to get everyone dancing the night away too as he takes to the deck to spin some dance tracks.

Here are the details for this year's CMF:
Date: 7 September 2019 (Saturday)
Venue: Tamarind Square, Cyberjaya
Time: 11am onwards

Let CMF "Light Up!" your weekend!

With "Light Up!" as the theme this year, Tamarind Square is set to have its façade brightened up with projection mapping, a visual technique that uses a projector to turn any surface into a scintillating visual display.

This will be the first time that projection mapping is featured at the venue – curated by Saishogen, a group featuring local creative talents.

Here's an example of how that would look like.

What's more interesting, the lights at the event can be activated using live tweets!

Visitors get to decide what colour to light up the installation with just by stating the chosen tint in their Twitter post. For example, tweeting "#Light up! Yellow" will instantly change the official event signage to – of course – yellow!

Since admission to CMF is free, there is no excuse to miss out on all this fun. Register for it today at https://eventboxasia.com/event/cyberjaya-multimedia-festival-2019-light-up
