Ayda Jebat happy for fans' response over pregnancy news
30 Apr – Ayda Jebat is elated over the positive response she received from her recent pregnancy announcement.
On 29 April, the actress posted a photo of her and husband Nabil Mahir on Instagram and wrote, "Thank you to those who sent well-wishes and prayers to us and the baby! Want to know more about my pregnancy journey? Comment below. I will try to make a video and respond if I have the strength. Haha!"
Celebrity friends including Catriona Ross, Anne Ngasri, and Sarah Raissuddin also took to the comments to congratulate the actress, with the former writing, "So so happy for [you], Adik."
Ayda shared her pregnancy news on 28 April - the same day Nabil celebrated his 33rd birthday - with a video of her surprising her husband with a pregnancy stick showing a positive result, eliciting a big smile on Nabil's face as he looked into the camera and shared, "She's pregnant."
"Insya-Allah, our junior is coming. Pray for good things for us," she posted.
Rumours of Ayda's pregnancy sparked back in February this year when a media outlet posted a rumour about it, much to Nabil's ire.
Ayda will be welcoming her first child in October. The singer-actress tied the knot with the TV personality back on 1 January.
